Who is worried about “artificial sweeteners?”

I AM TOO!! So, we only use natural sugar subs here.
We avoid the bad words (which spike blood sugar) like:
Sorbitol, Maltitol, maltodextrin, isomalt, maltose, carbitol, dextrose (SUGAR) mannitol…and others. These are typically found in "sugar free" foods that are found in most grocery stores and by big names like Hershey, Smuckers, Jolly Rancher etc.
We also avoid most SF sugar packets. Like splenda (made of Dextrose and Maltodextrin) Stevia in th Raw (same). Dextrose is what smarties are made of. . Always check ingredients.

We stick to:
Erythritol, Munk Fruit, Pure stevia (NOT stevia in the raw), Bocha sweet and Allulose.

I will say, convenience foods often will have “sucralose,” which I’m not the keenest on…but I’ve done a lot of research, and I am going with the TOTAL load theory on that one (living in a toxic world we reduce in areas that we can - learn more about that Epidemic Answers).  I let the graph be my guide.

I will also say…we don’t eat treats at every meal or all day long. In fact, we don’t do dessert on weekdays. I just think that  it is a good, healthy habit to save dessert for the weekend.

I have heard some people have tummy issues with some natural sweeteners. We don’t experience any of that.

Here are some low carb treats that we love. Sure, it took some time to get used to the different taste, but now it’s what we love.

We don’t feel deprived. We feel healthy and empowered. I involve my kids in baking, and they find joy in creating treats that make them feel good. We all support Will, and he feels LOVED.

This is how we #typeWON
